Hot & Sour Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1 can 8 oz TAS bamboo shoots (stripped), drained
  • 1 tsp. TAS ginger in brine (stripped), drained
  • 3 Tbsp.  rice vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp.  reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp.  toasted sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp. ground white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper, or to taste
  • 3 cups shredded napa, or green cabbage
  • 1 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper
  • 1/3 cup sliced scallions

Directions: 

  1. Whisk rice vinegar, reduced-sodium soy sauce, oil, TAS ginger, white pepper and crushed red pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Add napa (or green cabbage) bell pepper, scallions and TAS bamboo shoots; toss to coat
